1.5 cups of plain flour
0.5 cups of salt
0.5 cups of coffee granules
1 cup of water Once mixed I kneaded to make a dough and wrapped around the dinos. I wet my hands to smooth over any creases and then placed them on a baking tray. I baked them in the oven at 100 degrees C for about 3 hours. There was much excitement about this activity and I was really pleased with how long it entertained them. The eggs are quite tough to open so they had to work quite hard to break them open and then tear them apart to reveal the dinosaur inside. Such a great activity to strengthen hand muscles. Both kealan and Elyse were very proud of the hatchlings and put them back into their shells to hatch again. After that we examined each one to see what type they were and as there were some we weren’t sure about we got out our books.
